Evgeniya Dianova, the designer behind Rotor, wanted to create a lighting fixture that would stand out in any interior. The use of wooden slats gives Rotor a unique aesthetic appeal, while also making it suitable for a variety of design styles. But Rotor is not just about looks; it is also highly functional and technologically advanced.
One of the key features of Rotor is its easy assembly and installation. The lamp is equipped with four lampholders for LED bulbs, providing a bright light stream that can illuminate an entire room. When the light is turned off, Rotor becomes a stunning element of interior decor.
Constructed from carved veneered oak or American walnut MDF slats, Rotor is both elegant and durable. The slats are inserted at an angle into a base made of aluminum composite panel, creating a simple yet sophisticated design. The lamp is also equipped with an opal diffuser made of plexiglass, which hides the bulbs from view and disperses the light evenly.
With three available sizes (450x120mm, 540x120mm, and 650x120mm), Rotor can be customized to fit different spaces. It is lightweight, weighing between 2000g and 4000g depending on the model, and its length can be easily adjusted. Cleaning the chandelier is a breeze, as the slats can be pulled apart for easy access.
Electrical connection is made through a terminal block, and power is supplied to the lamp via a clear two-wire cable. The opal acrylic diffuser ensures a soft and pleasant light, while the color temperature and brightness can be adjusted by choosing the right LED bulbs.
Evgeniya Dianova and Dianov Denis have successfully combined workability and aesthetics in the design of Rotor. The lamp is not only easy to assemble and reliable, but it also adds a touch of elegance and uniqueness to any space. Rotor has received recognition for its outstanding design, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017 in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category.
With its modern form, use of natural materials, simplicity, and aesthetics, Rotor is a true testament to the power of innovative design in enhancing our lifestyle.
